HGV Class 1 ADR Driver Position

Pertemps is recruiting for HGV Class 1 ADR Drivers for BOC, a leading gas company in the UK. As a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to internal and external customers, filling and analyzing tankers and high-pressure trailers, and performing minor repairs to vehicles. You will also be required to couple and uncouple motive units, tow vehicles from tankers and trailers, and work regularly away from base, including overnight shifts. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work as part of a team, interact with internal and external customers, and have a high level of safety awareness. You will also need to possess an HGV C+E license for a minimum of 3 years, DQC (AKA CPC), and have no more than 3 penalty points on your driving license. Additionally, you must have experience of tanker driving and an ADR 'Class 2' entitlement in tanks. The role involves working mostly at night, but you must be able to work on daytime hours as well. You will be required to work Monday to Friday with semi-regular weekends, and trunking routes may involve being away from depot all week in a sleeper cab. The company offers paid breaks, attractive allowances for weekends, bank holidays, nights out, and other scenarios. This is a temporary ongoing role that can lead to a full-time permanent contract.
