Job Summary

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Drivers to join our team. As a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to internal and external customers, filling and analyzing tankers and high-pressure trailers, and performing minor repairs to vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to internal and external customers
  • Filling and analyzing tankers and high-pressure trailers
  • Performing minor repairs to vehicles using minimal tools
  • Coupling and uncoupling of motive units, towing vehicles from tankers & trailers
  • Regularly working away from base, including overnight working
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver
  • Valid HGV C+E licence
  • DQC (AKA CPC) certification
  • No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence
  • ADR 'Class 2' entitlement in tanks
  • Good understanding of EU and WTD tachograph legislation
  • High level of personal integrity
Working Conditions
  • Monday to Friday with semi-regular weekends
  • Trunking routes may involve being away from depot all week in sleeper cab
  • Paid breaks
  • Days - Approximate start 06:00am
  • Nights - Approximate start 18:00pm start
  • Shift length 10 hours (average)
