We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 ADR driver to join our team at BOC, a leading gas company in the UK. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to internal and external customers, filling and analyzing tankers and high-pressure trailers, and performing minor repairs to vehicles using basic tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver products to customers in a safe and efficient manner
- Fulfill tanker and trailer requirements, including filling and analysis
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Couple and uncouple motive units, towing vehicles as needed
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery goals
- Hold a valid HGV C+E license with a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Possess DQC (CPC) certification
- Have no more than 3 penalty points on your driving license
- Be able to demonstrate experience with tanker driving and ADR 'Class 2' entitlement in tanks
- Have a good understanding of EU and WTD tachograph legislation
- Be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
We offer a competitive hourly rate, paid breaks, and attractive allowances for weekends, bank holidays, and nights out. This is a temporary ongoing role with the potential to lead to a full-time permanent contract.
