Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to internal and external customers, filling and analyzing tankers and high-pressure trailers, and performing minor repairs to vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to internal and external customers
  • Filling and analyzing tankers and high-pressure trailers
  • Performing minor repairs to vehicles using minimal tools
  • Coupling and uncoupling of motive units, towing vehicles from tankers & trailers
  • Regularly working away from base, including overnight working
Requirements
  • Valid HGV C+E licence for a minimum of 3 years
  • Possession of DQC (AKA CPC)
  • No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence
  • Experience of tanker driving
  • ADR 'Class 2' entitlement in tanks
  • Good understanding of EU and WTD tachograph legislation
  • High level of personal Integrity
Working Hours

This role involves mostly night hours, but you must be able to work on day time hours. You will work Monday to Friday with semi-regular weekends. Trunking routes may involve being away from depot all week in sleeper cab.

Paid breaks are included, and you will have attractive allowances for weekends, bank holidays, nights out, and other scenarios.

This is a temporary ongoing role that can lead to a full-time permanent contract.
