Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our client's team at Whybrow, a reputable commercial property management company.

As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring smooth operations, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate property records;
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues and provide updates;
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with relevant legislation;
  • Manage works and contractors, ensuring timely completion and quality standards;
  • Track and chase rent collection and arrears, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction;
  • Manage and reconcile service charges, ensuring transparency and fairness;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial property management;
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including Landlord and Tenant Act law;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Proficiency in commercial property software;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Location

The main Whybrow office is based in Colchester, with opportunities to work across Essex.

Hours of Work

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with the option to work from home two days a week after a probationary period.

Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
