Job Title: Resident Liaison Officer

The Resident Liaison Officer is the primary point of contact for residents, responsible for managing queries and complaints in a timely manner. This role involves building relationships and engaging with residents to ensure their voice is heard and their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out pre-entry visits/surveys to ensure appointments are confirmed for access to the works to be carried out.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of resident interactions and queries.
  • Collaborate with site management and project teams to deliver high-quality services to residents.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve resident complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with general office duties and filing as required.
Person Specification:
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in a customer care related discipline (or prepared to study towards this).
  • GCSE or equivalent standard in Maths and English.
  • Experience of working in a social housing environment, preferably in a resident liaison or customer service role.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Caring and empathetic to residents.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritize tasks.
  • Collaborative working style, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to residents.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence and be willing to travel to other sites as required.
