Medical Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consultant-level input to our community team and running a memory clinic.
Main Responsibilities- Manage, appraise, and provide professional supervision to junior medical staff.
- Ensure junior medical staff operate within the parameters of the New Deal and are Working Time Directive compliant.
- Participate in service and business planning activity for the locality and whole mental health service.
- Maintain professional registration with the General Medical Council and abide by professional codes of conduct.
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- CCT in Psychiatry or inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register in psychiatry.
- Experience of the full range of clinical responsibilities expected of a consultant in old age psychiatry.
