About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of young people facing mental health challenges.

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care and support to young individuals experiencing serious mental health issues or complex emotional and behavioral difficulties. You will work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote healing and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of young people's mental health needs, identifying strengths and areas requiring support.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based interventions to address emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions to strengthen communication, build coping skills, and enhance support systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and educators, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
  • Stay informed about current best practices in mental health treatment for young people.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Practitioner with a strong commitment to providing compassionate and effective care. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Experience working with young people experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
