Roka London is a high-end restaurant that prides itself on delivering exceptional service and quality to its customers. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Sommelier to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Sommelier to lead our wine and beverage program. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of wine, a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement wine lists and beverage programs that meet the high standards of Roka London
  • Provide exceptional wine service to guests, including wine pairings and recommendations
  • Work closely with the culinary team to develop wine and food pairings
  • Manage wine inventory and ordering
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest wine trends and developments
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve sales and revenue goals
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Senior Sommelier in a high-end restaurant
  • WSET Level 2 or above (desired)
  • Sake knowledge and a keen interest to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet high standards
  • Keen interest in Japanese cuisine
