Deputy Care Home Manager Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team in the Billinghay, Lincoln area. You will be working for a leading healthcare provider, delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex needs related to learning disabilities.

This is a learning disability care home that provides 24/7 specialist nursing and residential care. As the Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting an enabling environment, ensuring high standards of professional practice, and compliance with external regulatory standards.
  • Deputising in the absence of the manager.
  • Providing specific management, support, advice, and motivation to the staff team to ensure individuals are supported to be as independent as possible and achieve their goals.
  • Having experience of working with people who have a learning disability and can present with complex behaviours, as well as holding a supervisory role within the social care sector.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive a competitive salary of £13.50 per hour and an annual salary of £28,080. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours a week through day shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive:
