A prominent company in the financial sector is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst. The credit evaluation and risk management division is a vital, expanding, and dynamic team. This team collaborates closely with the sales department, financial reporting, and various operational areas of the business. The credit evaluation team is ultimately accountable for overseeing, assessing, and controlling credit exposure in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate data on customers categorized as low, medium, and high risk, while reviewing the precision of automated scoring systems, with assistance from the deputy.
  • Review monthly reports and prepare for departmental meetings.
  • Engage in credit review discussions with senior leadership, demonstrating an understanding of clients who have entered administration, high exposure risks, industry trends, and credit assessment service level agreements.
  • Maintain data on credit exposure levels and ensure regular discussions are conducted with all credit and senior credit analysts to fully comprehend the reasons behind current exposure levels.
  • Generate reports and approval requests for the board, including detailed analysis and commentary on the data.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in credit risk management within a large organization.
