Join our esteemed Kier Group as a Senior Quantity Surveyor specializing in Mechanical and Electrical projects. This role is pivotal in overseeing our large-scale initiatives, particularly in the realm of high-value MEP services.
Location:
Glasgow, with a flexible hybrid working model that includes site visits, office collaboration, and remote work.
Contract Type:
Permanent, Full-Time.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage in the pre-construction phase through to project delivery, ensuring effective management of substantial MEP services.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and accurately forecast the costs associated with various materials required for project execution.
3. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
4. Prepare and distribute comprehensive commercial reports to the project leadership team for Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR).
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is required to perform effectively in this role.
