Your primary objective will be to ensure the availability of essential capacity, resources, and infrastructure to facilitate business expansion by pinpointing opportunities within the current network and addressing long-term constraints and strategic investment requirements.

This position also acts as a strategic planning advocate, working closely with other business functions such as finance, mid-term planning, manufacturing, and logistics, while fostering strong connections with the operational units.

Moreover, you will ensure that the capacity planning process is integrated with long-range planning (LRP), annual business planning (ABP), capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and significant productivity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance processes, governance, and technological standards relevant to the existing manufacturing capacity planning framework. Design and expand the capacity planning process and tools to include warehousing and inventory management.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the sales and capacity assumptions utilized in the analyses. Ensure that the outcomes of any network revisions are incorporated into the capacity planning process and tools.
  • Establish a strong collaboration with business units, planning, engineering, and finance regarding the long-range planning process.
  • Create a clear and reliable overview of operational hotspots and bluespots.
  • Determine network assessment priorities and identify structural investment needs.
  • Assess network performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as asset utilization and line load.
  • Investigate, unlock, and monitor capacity solutions to support long-term growth (e.g., performance enhancements, labor agreements, portfolio simplification).
  • Provide finance with a detailed overview of the factors related to capacity expansion that will impact financial planning (e.g., shift increases, co-packing avoidance, capital expenditures).
  • Ensure transparency regarding risks and opportunities linked to the proposed capacity solutions.
  • Integrate the Advanced Planning Systems (APS) team within the same standards and best practices observed globally at CCEP.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:

  • Required: 5-10 years in supply chain planning.
  • End-to-end supply chain expertise.
  • General understanding of all supply chain functions, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Preferred: Financial background is considered an asset.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Comprehensive understanding of integrated supply chain processes (planning, inventory management).
  • Familiarity with planning software tools - Data Guru, Supply Chain Guru, and SAP APO/IBP preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and visualization tools (such as Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot).

Core Competencies Preferred:

  • Strategic thinking to navigate the complexities of our business and account for critical factors influencing its long-term strategy.
  • Problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Define and implement analytical and effective solutions to challenges.
  • Critical thinking. Ability to translate data into actionable insights for improvement.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively influence others and develop collaborative partnerships.
  • Ability to inspire and influence senior stakeholders to drive results.
  • Commitment to performance and continuous improvement.

Language Proficiency:

  • Required: Fluent in English.
  • Plus: Proficiency in another European language.

Travel Requirements:

  • 25% to 50% travel may be necessary.
