About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care in Farnham. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the individuals we support, helping them to gain more independence in their daily lives.

Our nursing service centre in Farnham is a welcoming and friendly environment, and you can be sure that no two days will be the same. You will be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising, and doing lots of activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex needs, and mental health conditions in their daily lives
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities, socialise, and engage in activities
  • Teach new life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans

Requirements
  • A full UK driving license
  • Resilience, flexibility, and composure in your approach
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex needs, and mental health conditions
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
