Job Title: Facilities and Support Services Manager

Join our team as a Facilities and Support Services Manager at OLYMPUS EUROPA SE & CO. KG, where you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the Hard/Technical services within the Facilities Department.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities and Support Services Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional facilities management services. As a key member of our Corporate Division, you will be responsible for managing operational needs, cost efficiency, and budget requirements, while ensuring the highest standards of welfare, safety, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop the Hard/Technical services team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver excellent service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall facilities management experience.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager for Site Services to manage budget requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage external service providers, including Facility Management for our Bolton site, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including audits, non-compliance, and corrective/preventative actions.
  • Develop and implement performance reviews, personal development plans, and staff management processes to ensure the team's growth and development.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the company's objectives, goals, and forward directional plans.
Requirements:
  • IWFM/BIFM Level 4 and above qualification in Facilities Management or at least 2 years' experience of managing hard/technical services within a Facilities environment.
  • Experience in leading and managing a diverse team, with a strong bias towards HVAC and a desirable background in Gas.
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and experience of dealing with a varied customer base.
  • Strong working knowledge of CAFM and database systems, as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work on their own and as part of a team, with a willingness to travel and work unsocial hours as required.
