The Role: Global Tax & Treasury Leader
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Tax & Treasury Leader to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance across the Optimizely group, encompassing US federal, state, local taxes, sales tax, and foreign entity returns. You will achieve this through close collaboration with our global tax partners and support from local controllership teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team responsible for developing and delivering across multiple functional areas or teams, including policies, processes, short-term and long-term vision, strategy, and strategies to increase group efficiency, productivity, and impact.
- Manage experienced individual contributors and/or multiple managers.
- Monitor and ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
- Accountable for the full employee life cycle, including hiring, onboarding, goal alignment, work assignment, coaching/performance management, developing managers, and addressing resource gaps.
Key Qualifications:
- Possess 5+ years of experience leading a team in their field of expertise.
- Manage complex issues requiring an in-depth knowledge of the company, industry, and/or function.
- Apply broad knowledge of all areas within the function.
- Interact regularly with executives on strategic issues impacting the overall business.
- Influence senior-level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
- Demonstrate the ability to seamlessly adjust from detailed to strategic view.
Education:
Degree level education, or equivalent experience in global tax-related roles.
