Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Accountant to join our experienced team at Hays Senior Finance. As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounts preparation for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with turnovers up to £3 million.
You will work alongside the rest of the accounts team and will be involved with training and managing junior staff. You will also be required to effectively manage your own time and have some responsibility for bookkeeping and VAT returns for clients.
What You'll Need to SucceedThe ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience handling accounts for a wide range of clients in a practice environment. You will also need strong IT and technical skills with experience in accounts software, specifically Xero.
You will need to be able to manage client relationships and support them on a wide range of accountancy queries. This candidate will need to be AAT qualified or qualified by experience (QBE).
What You'll Get in ReturnIn return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £30,000 and £36,000 dependent on experience. You will also have access to a companywide benefits package including holidays and pension contributions.
