We are seeking a highly skilled Client Accountant to join our team at Hays Senior Finance. As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies with turnovers up to £3 million.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accounts for clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Act as a client manager and be responsible for your own portfolio of clients
  • Work alongside the rest of the accounts team and be involved in training and managing junior staff
  • Manage client relationships and support them on a wide range of accountancy queries

Requirements

  • Previous experience handling accounts for a wide range of clients in a practice environment
  • Strong IT and technical skills with experience in accounts software, specifically Xero
  • AAT qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your own workload effectively
