Supplier Quality Engineer

Become a vital part of Hydro International's Operations division, focusing on telemetry product quality assurance. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a hybrid working model with a standard 37.5-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the production schedule for electronic equipment
  • Develop detailed production work instructions
  • Oversee and maintain supplier relationships
  • Perform supplier audits in accordance with ISO9001 standards
  • Address non-conformances related to Hydro Electronics Products
  • Evaluate supplier rework and failure rate metrics
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies in Hydro drawings

Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of compliance controls
  • Examine marketing materials to ensure regulatory adherence
  • Fulfill ATEX / EX Authorised Person duties
  • Adhere to BS EN guidelines for 'Responsible persons'

Required Skills:

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with electronic assembly processes
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Understanding of ISO9001 standards
  • Capable of working methodically under tight deadlines

Software Proficiency:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with warranty dashboards
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NAV or SAP
