Our organization, Danny Sullivan Group Ltd, is a dynamic multi-utilities contractor that has recently secured a significant electrical project framework. We are in the process of assembling a new project team and are in search of a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist.
In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring that all products and services adhere to the defined quality standards, focusing on aspects such as reliability, usability, and performance.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing and advising on the effectiveness of the quality management system, generating data and reports on performance metrics, and evaluating compliance with established standards.
A background in electrical projects, particularly in substation construction and upgrades (132kV), cabling, and overhead lines, is preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities• Develop, implement, and sustain the company’s quality management systems.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
• Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with quality management system procedures.
• Stay informed about national and international standards and regulations.
• Ensure that products and services fulfill customer and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Identify opportunities for enhancement within the quality management system.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Provide training on quality assurance and control methodologies.
• Create training materials and facilitate workshops for personnel.
• Maintain precise quality documentation and records.
• Prepare and deliver quality reports and data analyses to management.
• Investigate and document customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
• Assess and monitor supplier performance.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and quality-related issues.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor) are highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in a quality assurance or quality control capacity.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
