Unlock Business Potential as a Business Consulting Associate Director

At Grant Thornton UK LLP, we're a team of independent thinkers who put quality, inclusion, and integrity first. We're looking for an experienced Associate Director to join our Business Consulting Operations Team and help us unlock further growth.

As a Business Consulting Associate Director, you'll lead mid-size projects, analyse financial and non-financial data to identify performance drivers, develop strategic business plans, and participate in business development activities. You'll work closely with our clients to provide commercial and strategic thinking, and help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead mid-size projects and collaborate with senior leaders to drive business growth.
  • Cost Reduction / Margin Improvement: Analyse financial data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance business performance.
  • Funding Support: Develop strategic business plans to support government, corporate, and private equity funding.
  • Operational Due Diligence: Lead operational due diligence assignments to identify risks and opportunities in businesses.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development activities, including scoping and drafting proposals.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lead a mid-size project with two to four direct reports.
  • Ability to think on the spot and provide commercial and strategic thinking to propose solutions to clients.
  • Excellent financial knowledge and the ability to interrogate financial statements.
  • Creative problem-solving ability and experience.
  • Open-minded, flexible, and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
