Key Responsibilities

As a Substance Use Nursing Specialist, your role will involve supporting treatments for opiate substitutes, overseeing detoxification processes for alcohol and opiates, and advocating for naloxone usage. You will collaborate with the nursing team to conduct Blood Borne Virus screenings and vaccinations, working closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services. Your efforts will contribute to fostering a collaborative environment that strengthens connections with external professionals and agencies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Candidates must be qualified nurses registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
