About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey, providing guidance, and promoting positive change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key worker to a caseload of service users, supporting them to set and achieve their goals
  • Provide regular contact, advice, and information to service users, as well as psycho-social interventions and assessments
  • Work closely with clinical staff to develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support
  • Manage a range of tasks and priorities, while maintaining effective communication with service users and colleagues

Requirements

  • Understanding of substance and alcohol use, and the challenges and opportunities for individuals on a recovery journey
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work dynamically with service users and colleagues
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a commitment to Turning Point's values and principles
