An exciting opportunity exists to become part of a dynamic partnership dedicated to delivering treatment and recovery services for substance use across Lincolnshire. This initiative is a collaboration between Turning Point, Framework, and Double Impact, combining extensive experience in substance use provision with a focus on lived experience and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Specialist Substance Use Nurse, you will support opiate substitute therapy, manage alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and advocate for naloxone use. You will collaborate with the nursing team to provide Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations, working closely with mental health, physical health, and social care professionals. Your role will also involve fostering partnerships that connect Turning Point with external professionals and organizations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You should be a qualified nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council. As part of our team, you will have access to resources for revalidation, indemnity insurance, and ongoing support from the nurse manager and clinical lead. We seek a compassionate nurse who enjoys engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating empathy, understanding, and patience.
