Job Summary

The Directorate of Navy Acquisition is responsible for managing the Navy's major acquisition programmes. As a Programme Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering the support acquisition portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for future support acquisition
  • Lead the delivery of programmes and projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address programme risks and issues
  • Monitor programme performance and provide regular updates to senior management
Requirements
  • Portfolio, Programme and Project Management (P3M) competences
  • Association for Project Management Qualifications
  • Experience in operational maritime support delivery, preferably within the Royal Navy or Ministry of Defence
  • Understanding of Defence programmes, requirements management, assurance and approval processes
