Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Capability Lead to join our team at Leonardo. As a key member of our Future Combat Air (FCA) Line of Business, you will play a critical role in developing and leading a complex Test Capability programme from strategy into implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the Test Capability roadmap for the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), ensuring alignment with the overall programme objectives and internal Leonardo Engineering Strategies.
  • Represent Leonardo as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide support to industry engagement across GCAP on Test Capability Strategy topics, including liaison with international and UK partners.
  • Build and lead a team to deliver the Test Capabilities (processes, methods, tools, technology, people) into GCAP, using a systematic approach.
  • Develop and deliver proof-of-concept and proof-of-value demonstrations to provide confidence that the new services meet the time and cost goals for the GCAP programme.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths discipline or similar experience.
  • Good level of Systems Engineering practitioner capability across the entire lifecycle.
  • Enthusiasm to take on new challenges and passion for knowledge sharing and developing others.
  • Ability to develop close relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to understand, interpret, and influence current and future user needs and requirements.
  • Effective and flexible communicator, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
