Job Summary:

The Ministry of Justice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Probation Practitioner to join our National Security Division. As a Specialist Probation Practitioner, you will be responsible for managing high-risk offenders who pose a threat to national security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of high-risk offenders who pose a threat to national security
  • Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate the threat posed by these offenders
  • Work closely with other agencies, including law enforcement and intelligence agencies, to share information and coordinate efforts to manage the risk posed by these offenders
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues on the management of high-risk offenders
  • Contribute to the development of policy and procedures for the management of high-risk offenders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working with high-risk offenders
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
