We are seeking a dynamic and diligent Global Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team. You'll be managing global containerized shipments, liaising with customs agents and hauliers, and ensuring smooth delivery processes. Your ability to handle challenges efficiently, whether early in the morning or at the end of the day, will be key to your success in this role.

Global Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the company's containerized shipments from various global locations.
  • Liaise with customs agents and a full load haulier network to ensure prompt customs clearance and timely delivery to warehouses and customers.
  • Process shipping invoices and monitor logistics related costs.
  • Review and verify shipping documents, maintaining communication with suppliers and customers worldwide.
  • Ensure the company secures the best prices and services from shipping lines, customs agents, hauliers, and warehouses.
  • Arrange FOB and FCA shipment bookings with shipping lines.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a global logistics or import-export role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of import and export procedures within the UK and EU.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Multilingual candidates will have a distinct advantage.
  • Degree educated.
  • Familiarity with UK customs clearance processes.
