Job Overview

The position involves providing specialized regulatory knowledge to assist clients in achieving comprehensive regulatory traceability and compliance assurance through our innovative and scalable regulatory mapping solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct expert reviews of the outputs generated by the automated regulatory mapping solution utilized by clients.
  • Engage in the continuous design, development, and enhancement of the regulatory mapping tool.
  • Advise the Business Development and Relationship Management teams on the prioritization and scoping of regulations for inclusion in the solution.
  • Collaborate with the Insights and Analytics team to analyze the results of the regulatory mapping process, considering implications for client indices.
  • Support clients in evaluating the outputs from the regulatory mapping solution.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding inquiries related to regulatory mapping.
  • Contribute to enhancing the regulatory knowledge base within the organization.
  • Participate in client meetings, presenting regulatory mapping findings and addressing specific requests as necessary.
  • Ensure consistent application of Data Technical Standards for regulatory mapping and core risk and control content.
  • Monitor, assess, and improve the quality and accuracy of regulatory mappings.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in a regulatory capacity, particularly in translating regulations into actionable requirements.
  • Demonstrated understanding of risk and control frameworks and their interaction with Non-Financial Risk Management processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of key regulations impacting financial services across various jurisdictions.
  • Experience with internal and external audits, as well as familiarity with regulatory scrutiny focused on governance and controls.
  • Interest in and awareness of Artificial Intelligence applications in regulation, risks, and controls.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic fintech environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and proven capability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
