Location: Onsite - Central London

This role requires working onsite Monday to Friday during term time, with the option for remote work or reduced hours during school holidays.

Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK.

Mackenzie Jones, a leading educational institution, is looking for a skilled 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will provide support to over 65 staff members and collaborate with an external Managed Service Provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering 1st and 2nd line IT support as well as system administration.
  • Providing assistance with Windows 11/10 and Office 365.
  • Supporting end-user devices including laptops, desktops, iPads, and tablets.
  • Managing hardware and software support tasks such as installation, configuration, and deployment.
  • Understanding networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, SSL, and IPSec, with knowledge of wireless switches being advantageous.
  • Utilizing Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools like InTune.
  • Assisting with audio/visual equipment such as projectors and interactive displays.
  • Implementing security measures including firewalls, antivirus, web filters, and security policies.
  • Providing support for VOIP communications and other telephony systems.
  • Exhibiting excellent communication and organizational skills with a proactive approach.

Working Hours:

This is an onsite position during term time from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with reduced hours of 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM during school holidays, allowing for some flexibility to work from home.
