Position Overview: We are excited to announce a vacancy for a dedicated Corporate Support Officer within the NHS Scotland Corporate Governance team.

Role Responsibilities: The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing administrative assistance to the Deputy Directors of Digital, Finance, and Quality, Performance, and Planning. This position demands a proactive individual with a strong background in administration, particularly within a large and complex organization.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to senior management.
  • Demonstrate a high level of discretion and diplomacy in handling confidential information.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Prepare accurate minutes during meetings and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Corporate Governance team and liaise with external Health Boards.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a recognized qualification in Administration, such as an HNC in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or relevant equivalent experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment: This role will follow a hybrid working model, with three days on-site and two days remote work after an initial introductory period. The position requires flexibility and adaptability to meet the fast-paced demands of the role.
