Job Opportunity

Element Materials Technology is seeking an experienced EMC Test Engineer to join our team in Surrey Hills, Guildford. As a key member of our operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting compliance testing on a wide range of products, including radio frequency wireless devices.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electromagnetic compatibility testing standards, including IEC, ETSI EN, EN, and ANSI C63.10. They will also have experience with test equipment such as EMI receivers, Anechoic Chambers, and Spectrum Analyzers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct EMC and RF tests on customer equipment, following laboratory technical procedures and test specifications.
  • Setup and operate test equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Maintain knowledge of test standards, product test procedures, and instrumentation.
  • Interact with customers during the testing process, providing technical support and assistance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electronics or equivalent electronics testing experience.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years working in Regulatory Compliance with specific experience in EMC Testing.
  • Certification of Wireless Device Technologies.
  • Experience testing devices with wireless capabilities, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC.
  • Knowledge of radio test standards for Europe.
