Electromagnetic Compatibility Test Engineer

Element is seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Compatibility Test Engineer to join our team in Surrey Hills, Guildford. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for conducting compliance testing on a wide range of products, with a strong focus on RF wireless testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct compliance testing on products, including setup, measurement, and documentation of results
  • Interface with customers on a daily basis to discuss testing requirements and results
  • Set up and operate test equipment, including EMI receivers, Anechoic Chambers, and Spectrum Analyzers
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of test standards, product test procedures, and instrumentation
  • Interact with customers during the testing process, assist with troubleshooting, and provide development modifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics or equivalent electronics testing experience
  • Minimum of 2-5 years working in Regulatory Compliance with specific experience in EMC Testing
  • Knowledge of radio test standards for Europe
  • Proven ability to use EMC test equipment
  • Knowledge of basic principles of electrical and electronic theory
