Job Summary:

Element Materials Technology is seeking a highly skilled EMC Test Engineer to join our team in Surrey Hills, Guildford. As a member of our operations team, the primary function of this role will be to conduct compliance testing on a wide variety of products while interfacing with customers on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a variety of EMC and RF tests, including setting up test equipment and customer equipment, performing testing to applicable standards or test plans, and accurately documenting the testing process and outcome.
  • Setup test equipment and follow written specifications necessary for the proper performance of the test.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of test standards, product test procedures, and instrumentation.
  • Interact with customers during the testing process, periodically assist with troubleshooting and development modifications.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics or equivalent electronics testing.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years working in Regulatory Compliance with specific in-depth experience in EMC Testing.
  • Experience testing devices with wireless capabilities.
  • Knowledge in the radio test standards for Europe.
  • Proven ability to use EMC test equipment such as EMI receivers, Anechoic Chambers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
  • Knowledge of basic principles of electrical and electronic theory.
