Job Description

Role Overview

An experienced ION developer is required to join Seargin Ltd for a 6-12 month project based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining ION core platform, AQ, NegLib, and MMI applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ION core platform, AQ, NegLib, and MMI applications to meet business requirements.
  • Design and implement data integration with Kafka and other systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of ION applications.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to business stakeholders on ION platform and MMI applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Seargin Ltd remains competitive.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in ION core platform, AQ, NegLib, and MMI applications.
  • Strong understanding of bond pricing using PXE and rates and credit bonds and derivatives products.
  • Detailed understanding of trading venues such as Bloomberg, TradeWeb.
  • 2+ years of experience in integrating ION with Kafka.
  • Strong Unix, SQL, and scripting skills.
  • Experience in automated testing and continuous integration.
  • Strong experience in Java, Scala, Spring stack, and FIX engines.
