About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Junior Account Manager to join our ION EMEA Commodities Account Management team. As a key member of our team, you will play a supporting role to our Account Management team and act as the primary point of contact between ION and select clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Account Managers at key accounts through involvement in meetings, creation of escalation packs, and other tasks to drive revenue growth.
  • Sell products, services, and solutions offered by ION to existing select accounts, assigned over time.
  • Develop and create commercial proposals and supporting documentation through liaison with other departments, such as Professional Services and Corporate Sales.
  • Manage business relationships between ION and clients to achieve add-on sales and services revenue goals and maintain clients' current Annual Contract Value (ACV).
  • Learn all aspects of the sales cycle for a portfolio of select existing clients assigned to the Junior Account Manager, resulting in closed deals and building skills and confidence for portfolio expansion.
  • Ensure clients receive optimum value and satisfaction from the solutions provided.
  • Assist in accuracy of invoicing and debt collection in conjunction with the sales support organization.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented environment, while managing an individual workload.
  • Capacity to work to specific timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related IT field or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience in Commodities, Account Management, or sales processes.
  • Experience in liaising with clients, preferably in a selling role, including use of CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Additional languages.
