Support Care Assistant

Advanced Home Care is looking for a dedicated Support Care Assistant who possesses the compassion and understanding necessary to deliver care services that uphold the dignity, privacy, autonomy, and rights of individuals receiving support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate independent living for service users by providing personalized care and assistance as outlined in their individual care plans.
- Ensure adherence to risk assessments and care plans to promote safety and well-being in the home environment.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, maintaining a balanced diet, and performing household tasks.
- Engage in social interactions to enhance the quality of life for service users.
- Support the operational efficiency of the company by ensuring all scheduled care visits are completed.
- Utilize the office Call Monitoring system to accurately log visit times.
- Report any concerns or changes in the condition of service users to management promptly.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews as required.
Qualifications:
- Good command of the English language (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
- Basic IT proficiency for data entry on mobile devices.
- Familiarity with the Safeguarding Process.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS Check.
- QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
- Specialized training in various care techniques.
