Key Responsibilities- Quote Management: Provide accurate quotations of engineered components to customers' drawings and specifications, as well as quotations of plastic sheet and rod.
- Order Processing: Process customer sales orders and supplier purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Quote Follow-up: Ensure that quotes are followed up on a weekly basis, obtaining feedback from customers where possible.
- Quote Conversion Analysis: Measure and analyze quote conversion, liaising with sales and production managers to discuss conversions.
- Customer Support: Provide customers with information about the materials they require and offer suitable alternatives when necessary, to assist in problem-solving.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in daily SQCDP meetings and assist in general sales activities across other business units, such as order processing and enquiry handling.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and maintain attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
- Communication Skills: Friendly and confident telephone manner, with excellent communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience in ERP systems.
