We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Medacs Healthcare. As a Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive treatment plans for families, children, and adolescents with mental health issues and learning disabilities.
- Conduct thorough assessments and consultations to identify the most effective treatment strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Develop and implement mental health services for children, adolescents, and families, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
- Prepare and present professional assessments and reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in medical audits and evaluations to ensure the highest standards of care.
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice at the time of appointment.
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within 6 months.
- Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
- Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
- Holds and will use valid UK driving license OR provides evidence of proposed alternative.
