As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supervising and supporting the care staff team in providing effective care and support to adult residents with profound learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the care staff team in delivering high-quality care and support services.
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans to meet the individual needs of residents.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Collaborate with the care team to identify and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Provide guidance and support to care staff to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care.
Requirements:
- NVQ level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience of working with people with learning disabilities is desirable.
- Competent in dispensing medication and supervising a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring and positive attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support services.
