New Senior Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide person-centred care and support to adults with profound learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Assist the Registered Manager in general care and health care administration matters, including cover for staff holidays and other absences.
  • Promote independent living skills and work in a person-centred way.
  • Action and work with all care and support plans tailored to the needs of each individual.
  • Support with personal care needs where required and ensure that staff are trained and have the support needed to complete their tasks.

About You:

You will be a positive, proactive, and passionate person who has the desire to support vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will work in a person-centred way and ideally have experience of working in the social care sector, preferably in a similar setting, and have senior and supervisory skills. A Level 3 in Health and Social Care is also desirable.

Your flexible approach to work will be key, and you will be able to work between the hours of 8am Monday to Sunday, working occasional weekends. Ideally, you will be a car driver with access to your own vehicle.
