About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Assistant to join our Beauty Team at Harrods on a permanent basis.

As a Demand Planning Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support to the Demand Planner and Demand Planning Manager, ensuring accuracy and integrity of Demand and Fulfilment for the category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Demand Planner in challenging promotional and launch sales forecasts projected by the Buying/Retail teams, forecasting events and promotions in line with key dates.
  • Manage master data relating to replenishment in SAP, ensuring a high level of accuracy is always maintained.
  • Chase deliveries and amend quantities and delivery dates to improve visibility of inbound intake.
  • Resolve trouble shipments, coordinating with Distribution and Buying to ensure that issues are resolved promptly and drive improvements in vendor compliance.
  • Attend meetings with internal or external stakeholders when required.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across key internal teams, including Buying, Retail, Online Trade, Product Catalogue, and Distribution/Supply Chain.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Demand Planning Assistant who possesses great administrative skills, knowledge of SAP and Excel, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You will be flexible and ready to adapt to changing priorities, able to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience of demand planning, replenishment, and forecasting.
  • Experience of JDA system preferable.
  • Proven experience with SAP.
  • Excellent PC literacy (Word, PowerPoint, advanced Excel).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong customer service-focus when dealing with both internal and external parties.
