As part of our ongoing improvements, NHS Lothian is transitioning to a reduced full-time working week, adjusting from 37.5 to 37 hours. Please be aware that certain service areas may require a temporary adjustment to working hours, which will be compensated accordingly until the new schedules are fully implemented.

This position necessitates the post holder to possess a valid PVG Scheme membership. If the candidate is not currently a member of the required regulatory group, an application must be submitted to Disclosure Scotland and approved prior to commencing employment.

The successful candidate will assume the role of a Specialist Physiotherapist, employing advanced decision-making skills and clinical judgment to address patient health needs through the diagnosis and management of complex cases referred for gait analysis. This role includes conducting specialized gait assessments, analyzing diverse data sets, and producing comprehensive clinical and technical reports with actionable recommendations for Medical Consultants and Specialist Allied Health Professionals.

This is a part-time position (0.5 wte), and please note that the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
