Edinburgh, Edinburgh, United Kingdom NHS Scotland Full time

NHS Scotland is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workforce, promoting equality and eliminating unlawful discrimination. Our goal is to have a truly representative workforce, where each employee feels valued and empowered to excel.

We are dedicated to supporting disabled candidates and those with long-term conditions or neurodivergent individuals by making reasonable adjustments to our recruitment processes and practices.

NHS Scotland is transitioning to a 37-hour working week, with no reduction in pay, to promote work-life balance. This change will be applied pro-rata for part-time staff. This job posting reflects the new working hours, but some service areas may require temporary adjustments, which will be compensated accordingly.

This role requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership or record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group, an application will be made to Disclosure Scotland, and the post holder will be deemed satisfactory before commencing in the role.

The SMART Centre provides specialized clinical rehabilitation technology services across the southeast of Scotland. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will work in the Clinical Gait Analysis Service, utilizing high levels of decision-making and clinical judgment to ensure patient health needs are met through diagnosis and management of complex patients referred for gait analysis.

This part-time role (0.5 wte) involves specialized gait assessments, analysis of multiple data sets, and generation of detailed clinical and technical reports with recommendations for Medical Consultants and Specialist AHPs.

Please note that the salary will be pro-rata for this part-time position.

For further information on the role and required skills/experience, please refer to the job description and person specification. If you have any questions, please contact Katie Holt or Graham Henderson.
