Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Clinical Gait Analysis Service in the SMART Centre at Astley Ainslie Hospital, NHS Lothian, Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake gait assessments and analysis of multiple data sets to diagnose and manage complex patients referred for gait analysis.
  • Generate detailed clinical and technical reports with recommendations for use by Medical Consultants and Specialist AHPs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient health needs are met.

Requirements:

  • High levels of decision making and clinical judgement.
  • Specialised gait assessment and analysis skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.

Working Arrangements: This is a part-time position (0.5 wte) with a pro-rata salary. Please note that the salary will be adjusted accordingly.
