The University of York is seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join its Centre for Reviews and Dissemination (CRD). As a Research Fellow, you will contribute to the development of evidence synthesis projects, working closely with the CRD team to design, conduct, and disseminate systematic reviews and health technology assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct systematic reviews and health technology assessments in health and care topics
  • Develop and maintain expertise in evidence synthesis methodologies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify research priorities and develop project proposals
  • Contribute to the development of research funding applications
  • Participate in the dissemination of research findings through publications and presentations

Requirements

  • Masters level qualification in a health science, social science, or applied statistical subject
  • Relevant PhD or equivalent research experience in a relevant topic
  • Experience of conducting systematic reviews in health and care topics
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
