Business Development Manager

About the Role:
The Access Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase revenue and expand our customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and prospective customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, bid submission, and contractual negotiations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure aligned sales strategies and effective delivery of solutions to customers
- Provide regular sales performance updates and insights to inform business decisions
- Support the expansion into new vertical markets through new business activity and the nurturing of prospects and potential partnerships
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a B2B sales role, with a track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand customer needs and develop effective sales strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize a demanding workload
