About the Role:

The Access Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase revenue and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and prospective customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, bid submission, and contractual negotiations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure aligned sales strategies and effective delivery of solutions to customers
  • Provide regular sales performance updates and insights to inform business decisions
  • Support the expansion into new vertical markets through new business activity and the nurturing of prospects and potential partnerships

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a B2B sales role, with a track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand customer needs and develop effective sales strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize a demanding workload
