Payroll Coordinator

About the Role:
As a Payroll Assistant at Perrott Partners Recruitment Limited, you will be an integral part of our clients' finance team, responsible for managing comprehensive payroll processes, including calculations of PAYE, FPS, and EPS submissions.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Calculate statutory payments, such as SMP, SPP, and SSP, and apply NIC for new joiners and manage adjustments.
- Address and resolve queries related to tax code changes and National Insurance updates.
- Conduct thorough checks and balances within the payroll process to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and submit pension data to various providers.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with a robust background in payroll, with at least 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a payroll bureau, commercial, or practice setting, managing multiple payroll cycles.
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in payroll software such as Sage, Iris, or Staffology.
- Strong communication skills, allowing effective interaction with clients and team members.
