Commercial Assistant

About the Role
United Living Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Property Services team as an Apprentice Commercial Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Commercial team in managing budgets, tracking costs, and sourcing services and resources for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of subcontract and supplier orders
- Manage project databases to ensure accurate recording of documents and reports
- Prepare for and attend regular departmental meetings
- Support the team with general office duties and daily commercial tasks
- Assist in the timely preparation of client applications for payment, checking and processing invoices, payment certificates, and pay-less notices
- Liaise with Credit Control to assist with the timely management of cash receipts
- Assist the team with the preparation of monthly statutory reports
Requirements
- 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C/4-9 including English & Maths
- Basic IT skills
- Good attention to detail
- Commitment to live and breathe our company values during work and studies
- Motivation and dedication to successfully complete the apprenticeship programme
