Job Title: Senior Economist, GM Forecast and Planning

We are seeking an experienced Senior Economist to join our Global Mile Expansion team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing business models that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop innovative models for predictive learning and business forecasting.
  • Analyze and extract relevant information from business data to inform key decisions.
  • Establish scalable and efficient processes for large-scale data analysis and model implementation.
  • Research and implement statistical approaches to understand business trends and support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
  • PhD in mathematics, economics, or a related field.
  • Industry, consulting, or academic research experience.
  • Strong background in time series econometrics, asset pricing, and empirical macroeconomics.
